SKU: TheRiverOG_001

Music influence: The River - Why me?, Why Not?, Liam Gallagher.

Do you harbour a strong desire to be near water? To be mesmerised by the colours, movement and light? To draw upon the calming energy of a flowing river? To feel at peace?

The River is my interpretation of that experience. The watery blues and greens entwine across the canvas to display both movement and depth. The energy surfacing in the white wash as it hits an obstacle under the surface or fights against its own flow.

The River creates an experience you can call upon as you desire in the comfort of your own home or special place.

The Blue + Green collection was created as my response to the RGA (Reading Guild of Artists), online exhibition, in which this painting is currently on display.
