My work across the Blue + collections has been heavily influenced by time spent both beside and in water.
The power of waves crashing against shorelines or your own body is something to be treasured. With a focus on harnessing this movement and power, splash literally impacts across the canvas, fragmenting at the edges as the energy dissipates.
There is much to be learned by the freedom of water. Be like water. Splash.
The Blue + Green collection was created as my response to the RGA (Reading Guild of Artists), online exhibition, in which the original painting is currently on display.
